Potential participants

Three groups of students are expected to take part in the summer school

(1)  Those participating in projects in the framework of TECT.

(2)  Those participating in GEBACO projects and/or working with one of the partners in the INCORE-programme (GEBACO/INCORE students are assumed to be supported by the INCORE grant to their supervisors)

(3)  Others interested in the study of cooperation (as far as places are available)

 

The participation of TECT students is supported by a grant from the ESF. At this point in time we expect them to only pay their travel expenses. The participation costs for all other participants are € 650. This registration fee includes boarding (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and lodging (in apartment-style double rooms with shower & toilet, kitchenette and small living room) for 7 days/nights, as well as participation in the summer school and the excursions. Single rooms can also be requested for an additional € 175.

 

Depending on the number of applications, we may also allow students to stay on the camp site next door and participate for a total fee of € 400 (as above but without the use of a room). Reservations for the camp site have to be made in time (see web pages for information).

 

The INCORE-programme will cover the participation costs (€ 650) of to up to 3 students from the Eastern European countries that recently joined the EU (NB this applies for students not financed directly by TECT or GEBACO). Please indicate whether you are eligible for such a grant.

 

A deposit of €100 will be asked from all participants, except for TECT-students, after their successful application.

 

The payment should be made by bank transfer to the main  financial administrator of this event, that is to say the European Science Foundation (ESF).  The necessary bank details will be provided to you after you have successfully applied.
